A gijinka exercise, done last night after watching this horrible French cartoon named Potlach. This is supposed to be Evgeni the duck, this short blue guy whom has apparently traveled the world.

he's also the only character I don't want to hit with a truck

Dat fuckin' bush scene man. and dat fuckin' sheep pee exploding thing.

Dear god, looking back on it, it was beautiful.

Also I like the details on the duck that i don't even remember seeing in the show really ;___;

I'd try watching the show again, except half the series went to go live with Barebuns Lafferty. I doubt I can get my review of the first disc past the "all-caps shrieking" phase.

Anyway, Evgeni had some weird little hat, and I remember adding it as an afterthought when that weird ginger cow asked him about it in-show. Also I don't know if he ever stops being the one unpunchable character (at least in my opinion).

Barebuns Lafferty loool, I have the first two discs if you'd like to have them or borrow them, and I could ask Lafferty if I could have the discs he has. I'd honestly like to see how it would turn out, but I can definitely see why you wouldn't want the whole review to be "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Oh shoot I remember the hat. And Ginger Cow-tan is terrifying aaauugh.

...And for once, you've drawn something about a French/Canadian/whatever cartoon that I actually don't know. XD That feels pretty unusual.
I'll have to agree with :iconspiroulette: , the shirt looks cool.

I only found out about the cartoon because some friends and I found DVDs at the dollar store. :lol: (I did find an official website, though. [link] ) It's apparently for kids, but some of the stuff in the show is totally inappropriate. It's strange...

Thank you! :heart: I tried to go by all the little details on Duck!Evgeni...like, there's these blue freckly things on the sides of his bill, so I interpreted those as sideburns, and his feather pattern as one of those textured sweaters. :aww:

It makes him look kinda 70's/60's, though, with both the sideburns and the shirt. That's a good thing, though, ^^
